    The bloke didn't fit the bearing hat in the same orientation as when he took it off. I've been scouring the internet trying to find someone who has fitted them correctly but to no avail. Luckily it looks like a factory RH strut so when he pulls it apart you can see the tab on the bearing facing towards the back of the car (when fitted).
    This is important as the bearing hat is offset & will alter suspension geometry if not fitted correctly & identically to the LH side of the vehicle too.

    Great tutorial...think i could tackle this myself now but spring compressor is something i dont have so its a garage job.
    Speed bumps are a pain.

    Great help to me, just found the reason for rattling noise on my astravan.
    Snapped coil spring.
    Have used one of your videos before & very helpful.
